As another week begins I embrace this small change in my week as Mic-Club has been cancelled due to party having been booked this Thursday Nov.13th.
Ideally I would have moved the open mic to another day but instead it gives myself a chance to relax and head to Ace of Clubs this Tuesday Nov.11th and sap up a range of local new york bands and catch up with a few of the regular community of musicians who attend Mic-Club.

Allen Gogarty Band
A new band for me yet have been in and around the scene is “230 Revue” From what I have heard these boys will rock out the night. With Chris Costanzi, Billy Nichols, Dave D’Arcy and Craig McNeer.
Ace of Clubs is situated downstairs from ACME on Great Jones St. btw. Broadway & Lafayette St.
Hope to see some familiar faces for a wee drink
