If you go on Allen’s page that only gives you a pinch of a taste of what you will be able to devour this Thursday at 10:30pm. At Mic-Club we will be pulling out all the stops as we do a live film recording with photo shoot and drink promo… so we only encourage the true at heart who will embrace the energy of the band and send it back ten fold as we capture what we believe will be an epic in open mic history!!!

A last minute readjustment; our lovely voice, Sitiana, had to cancel her feature performance, however all is not lost. Though we will miss something very special imported straight from Italy, we have quickly filled the feature spot with a more than ready candidate, Jodi James. For those you have already heard her past performances at Mic-Club, tonight you will hear the whole story.

Jodi James will do a full feature and what a blessing it is to have such a gem.

Those who know me know that I do not lie when I say someone is good. With words that sometimes imprison me; I will try to recreate a fiber into what will happen tonight at Mic-Club. Love stories, plays and movies have tired to capture that magical charm that southerners are sugar glazed with. Well let me tell you something ladies and gents (and to those who have not met me or are just beginning to know me). What you will experience tonight from My Lovely Jodi James, will remind you exactly why you fall in love. It takes a certain environment to sprout a dormant seed that is hungry for existence. Tonight, that seed in your soul will receive plenty of water, sunshine, and warmth. What flowers will bloom tonight.

The construction of soothing melodies, the lyrical wisdom and the beauty of her voice, (May I add that she is incredibly sexy as well?) is a soul elixir I urge everyone to drink.

I’m running out of things to say folks. I will sit here and try to find the right words to say the truth in a language that we could all easily understand. When something valuable is free, people tend not to give it the value it deserves but when something plastic and cheap is expensive, people tend to get in line with their cash and credit cards. Of course ladies and gents, this is purely based on my observation.Let me say that I am the type of person that whenever something makes me feel wonderful, I immediately want to share it with whoever is next to me. Usually, it is the people I love (the means the world) I have spent countless times trying to write the right thing to say in order to convince those who have not experienced Mic-Club Open-Mic, to come experience something that can not ever be explained with words. Even the best poet will come to a tall, wall when describing us. I simply want to share this phenomenon. Something beautiful and flawless will happen at our space but you must be willing to believe. Mic-Club resides in the foundation of cynical times that good nature is the equivalent to cancer. They want to exterminate it. We are the moss within the cracks or the sidewalk proving once again that even concrete can not stop life from existing. That said; once again, let me promise you a good time. Tonight’s feature, The Fave, will garnish the walls of Mic-Club with sounds of joy. We are talking about a joy created from years of hardships. These people have stuck together through thick and thin and their love for each other is so apparent and strong. Nowadays, even having a band is a task. Too many egos, too many false aspirations make for a band to break up within months. The Fave stuck to the plan and the plan is to make music and be a family; and what good music it is. Prepared to be rocked, floored, ruled and owned. The Fave is here and tonight anyone is invited (as usual) to come and bite into the forbidden fruit of sound and harmony.
